My favourite morning routine while driving to my workplace is listening to Jake Ducey. Robin Sharma or Abraham Hicks. I do wake up at 4.30 am, personal devotion, meditation 5 mins, yoga in bed 5 mins, then preparing myself to go to my office. I commute everyday for 45 mins to my workplace. While driving, i love to listen motivational sharing and those three are my favourites.
One thing that I learn from Jake Ducey is practice gratitude every morning. It starts when we wake up, we have to remember that it is an absolute miracle because we are still alive. Life is truly a miracle.
Practising gratitude is another thing that we can do every morning.
For me, i always take my personal devotion. Learning to do meditation, only 5 mins. My point is consistency, some can have it for 20 mins even 30 mins. I do believe that one day i will reach that long, but as for now, i want to be consistent in my practise. Youtube helps me a lot with this, i pick up whichever my heart wants for the guide meditation.
Yoga by Candace is my next thing, especially because she has ‘yoga in bed’. I think, it is very interesting and it helps me to move my body and having morning exercise. I usually have the 5 mins yoga in the morning, say in front of the mirror my affirmation for the day, then prepare myself for my work.
My daily affirmation also varies. Again, there are more affirmations that I can find in Instagram or even in Youtube. I usually use the one from Instagram : daily.positive.affirmation and todayiaffirmcards.
Once i am ready, i try to list down on whatever things i am going to do throughout the day. Well, it helps me a lot.
